Hello everyone!
Shortly before I came to India, I watched The Sound of Music and really admired Maria. I wanted to be like her for the kids; a fun teacher who still maintains order.
A few days ago I was told what was expected of me and what my leaders want me to do with the children. "Wow!" I thought, "This is really going to take me out of my shell." I'm SOOO excited! (a little nervous too at first, but I'm taking one day at a time.
Then I really felt like Maria the day before yesterday as I took out my puppets. First I did a puppet show, then we all did one together. It was SOO fun! It's amazing how God will give you ideas when you need them and when you'll take the risk!
Anyway, I'm still growing!
Love you all!

Puppets? How cute. I wish I could see you with the children. I hope that you will bring us pictures back. You sound so happy Heather. You are such an inspiration to me the way you let God work through you. Praise God. And keep having fun!
Hey Maria!! I am so glad you are adjusting and having so much fun. I miss you like crazy. The puppet show sounds so cute. take lots of pictures for everyone. love you!
So glad you're having fun. That's so important because when you're having fun, the children will have fun...and what better way to learn!
We miss you!
Talked with your mom the other day about you and your trip, the kids, they're calling you Feather Akka (that is cute) and how you're enjoying it.
I know that you are a blessing to those children just as much as you probably feel they are a blessing to you. Be safe, have fun stretching, I know you'll do well at it.
Hey Hezie,
It was fun talking to you! Miss you , but I know God is using you there. Have fun with the kids, give them lots of love and great bed time stories.
Boy, it was a good thing we watched that movie, huh? Funny how God gives us what we need before we know we need it.
I'm praying for you, Heather, and your dealings with the adults as well as the children. Remember to choose what is right in God's eyes, and He will work out how it is used. Have fun being an Akka instead of a little sister for a change!
Hey, I put a picture on and I'm testing it. Jenny Penny helped!
One more try...
